- Do not use Pipewise output as the basis for unqualified gas or electrical work. Gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer (or local equivalent); electrical work by a qualified electrician.
- Do not rely on the tool in an emergency.
If you smell gas, suspect a leak, hear a carbon monoxide alarm, or see a boiler smoking or behaving abnormally: stop, open windows, leave the property and call your local gas emergency line and a registered engineer. Do not rely on this tool in an emergency.
You must not
- Upload photos or plans of property you do not own or have permission to use, or use them for a purpose the owner has not agreed to.
- Use output to fabricate a survey, inspection or safety report, or to mislead a buyer, tenant, insurer or authority.
- Present Pipewise output as if it were the work of a licensed professional.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, hateful or harmful content, or content depicting unsafe or dangerous instructions.
- Attempt to break, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or bypass access controls or usage limits of the service.
- Resell or redistribute the service or its outputs as a competing diagnosis or survey service.
